Most days, Giulio is somewhere inside a route-optimization engine, working on the algorithms that decide how deliveries move – cutting costs, driver time, and distance driven. He joined Mover from a large consulting firm in Italy, drawn by the chance to work somewhere smaller, where individual ideas visibly shape outcomes for large-scale customers. It is the fact that ideas are genuinely taken seriously at Mover, which pushed his work toward the core optimization problems he tackles today.

Giulio grew up in a village in northern Italy, near Turin. An unusually inspiring high school math teacher sent a large share of her students toward mathematics and physics instead of the region's usual engineering path – Giulio was one among them. A master's in data science followed.
Off the clock, he's usually still routing albeit something different, just for fun: gravel rides through Copenhagen's cycling scene, or table tennis, a long-time passion he's taken increasingly seriously. The rest of his time goes to his partner, a multicultural circle of friends, books, and a running list of personal projects he never quite catches up on.
